Përfaqësuesit e shteteve të Ballkanit Perëndimor kanë zhvilluar një drekë joformale me përfaqësuesen e lartë të Bashkimit Evropian për Punët e Jashtme dhe Politikën e Sigurisë, Kaja Kallas.
Në këtë takim kanë marrë pjesë kryeministri i Kosovës, Albin Kurti; ministri për Evropën dhe Punët e Jashtme i Shqipërisë, Ferit Hoxha; kryeministri i Maqedonisë së Veriut, Hristijan Mickoski; presidenti i Malit të Zi, Jakov Milatoviq; ministri i Punëve të Jashtme i Serbisë, Marko Gjuriq; si dhe ministri i Punëve të Jashtme i Bosnjë dhe Hercegovinës, Dino Konakoviq.

🇧🇦 Foreign Minister @dinokonakovic joined Western Balkans partners for an informal lunch hosted by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission @kajakallas.
Regional stability was at the heart of the discussion. Minister Konaković raised the concerns conveyed in his recent letter and special address following the state-sponsored honors accorded in Serbia to Ratko Mladić, convicted of genocide in Srebrenica, crimes against humanity and war crimes. FM Konaković stressed that the institutional glorification of convicted war criminals cannot be ignored in the context of a candidate country’s EU path. It raises serious questions about the values Europe is prepared to defend and the standards it expects candidate countries to uphold. A credible enlargement process requires clear standards and a clear response when those standards are openly challenged.
